  1. Hello Ryan, I`m 64, from Germany and learning guitar for about one year by myself. I accidentally found your Video “wayfarring stranger”. That´s the song I want to Play. So I am free member since yesterday. Your Explanation for the bass walks are nice ( this land is your land ), but for me too fast. Where can I see them?

    1. Hey there! Thanks for joining the site. I have a lead sheet and a lyric sheet with this lesson, but not tabs. For these style of lessons that are part of my “Vault” collection, I don’t do any tabs. These are informal lessons that are focused on strumming and singing. I show a few walks here and there on ‘the fly’ but again, it’s more about learning to strum the tunes and line up the lyrics.

  2. I love this lesson. Great teaching style Ryan. Feel like I struck gold. Can’t wait to work on this tune this weekend. Thanks for singing too! This is going to help me get better at bass runs. I love the little flubs, dropping your pick, missing a chord and how you model just carrying on. Makes it real and adds rather than detracts from the learning. Thanks so much.

    1. Thanks so much, Kelly! Happy to hear you’ve landed here in Music With Ryan! And yes, people need to understand that mistakes and little ‘mess-ups’ just happen. It’s all part of it, but you must play through that stuff. While I don’t like to make mistakes, I’m glad you find it gives the lesson some authenticity. 🙂
