The 2026 Jam Camp Season Has Ended
Pictures from Jam Camps 2026!
Ready to attend in September of 2027?
Here is what folks had to say about camp!
This trip exceeded all my expectations. The small group size was really key, and the access to the instructors was fantastic. I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking to jump start their picking routines and increase their playing knowledge with a group of like-minded people. I would definitely do this again.
This was my first jam camp and first experience with Red Clover Ranch. It was an off-the-charts, out-of-the-park fantastic experience, A to Z in every respect. Ryan and Hayes were both down to earth, easy to talk to teachers and mentors, while being brain-melting virtuosos when they cut loose on bluegrass guitar. The other participants were all congenial Flatpicking compatriots who were all very supportive and fun to be with. The food has to be mentioned: I was sort of expecting some kind of generic open-some-cans or microwave stuff to take care of the big (16) mass of appetites three times a day, but I was completely astonished and delighted at the glorious delicious/nutritious gourmet Michelin Star level food that Chef Dani created for every meal, and for lagniappe, Dani herself was a shining beacon of joy, warmth, high spirits, and fun that alloyed so well with her culinary expertise. Owner Annie should be commended for her superb work in setting up and outfitting the Red Clover Ranch so well for group events like this. Other details? I was glad that my cabin was air conditioned in the toasty weather we had (although the AC remote was behind a curtain and I didn't find it right away). Night noises: I have never heard such loud bullfrogs anywhere, any time - aspiring Pavarottis all - but thankfully my cabin was very well sound insulated and I couldn't hear them at all once inside. So all in all: wonderful time - I can't wait to come back again next year for another Jam Camp Getaway. Many thanks, Ryan and everyone!
I attended as a camper and my wife accompanied me as a guest. We both enjoyed the experience and had a good time. The instructors were skilled, experienced musicians - welcoming, very approachable and eager to be of assistance. The intimacy of the setting made it easy to get to know all the other participants and to learn from each other. The Red Clover Ranch setting was very beautiful, though the attractive lodging accommodations were a bit rustic (the bathhouse and cabins were very nice, but there was a short walk from the cabins to the bathhouse, which might be an issue for some people). The food was quite good, and the facility staff very welcoming.
Really fun camp with opportunity to learn, jam and make friends with other bluegrass nerds like me. Both Ryan and Hayes are able to slow it down and help you really understand the concepts they are trying to teach you. Farm to table food cooked by Dani was delicious and different. The ranch layout is convenient and really conducive to a small, intimate music camp like this. Would highly recommend.
Just finished my second Jam camp at Red Clover Ranch and it was every bit as good as the first one. You couldn't ask for better teachers/jam leaders than Ryan and Hayes. They are both talented, supportive, and encouraging. They really created a collaborative, nonjudgemental atmosphere for the campers. If you are considering attending a future camp, come prepared to jam all day everyday.

Hey Ryan... just a quick note to say I really enjoyed the Jam Camp. I'm seriously thinking about attending next year. The attendees were great... Red Clover Ranch was great, the staff at the Ranch were great..... and of course, you and Andy were great too!
