Reuben’s Train – Beginner and Advanced Arrangements

In this week’s featured lesson we’ll be learning the classic Old-Time tune ‘Reuben’s Train’ in the key of D.  Since the verse and chorus have virtually the same melody and it’s only 8 bars long, I’ve created three arrangements for this song.  The time through is a beginner arrangement that is straight ahead and stays in 1st position.  In the 2nd and 3rd arrangements, we’ll get more expressive with consecutive eight notes and spanning the fretboard. Have a listen below!
