New River Train – Carter-Style and Intermediate Solos

Here are my arrangements for the old-time tune “New River Train” done in the key of D.  We’ll be working out of ‘C position’ and learning two arrangements.  The first time through is a Carter-Style solo that will be great for the beginner.  The second time through is an intermediate to advanced solo in which we’ll get more expressive with the melody.  Have fun!
