Long Black Veil – Carter Style and Intermediate Solo

In this week’s featured lesson I’ve created two arrangements for the old folk tune ‘Long Black Veil’ in the key of G. The first time through we’ll work on a basic ‘Carter-Style’ arrangement that plays the melody straight-ahead. The second time through we’ll spice that melody up by learning an intermediate Flatpicking arrangement that involves eighth note runs, hammer-ons, pull-offs, and slides. Since the tune is done slow, this will make a great lesson for anyone trying to master their Flatpicking skills and become a better soloist. Go ahead and give it a listen below!

This lesson includes –

– PDF Tabs and Notation
– Over 40 Minutes of up-close video
– 3 Speeds of Practice Tracks at 100, 110, and 120 BPM(With and without lead) BPM
– Broken up into 6 separate videos so you can move around easier
– Slow Walk Through Clip of the arrangement
