Catfish John – Intermediate

Here is my arrangement for the traditional bluegrass tune “Catfish John” done in the key of G.  I’ve created an intermediate to an advanced arrangement that covers both the verse and chorus.  I’ve incorporated elements of the Carter style and bluegrass flat-picking.  This another “must-know” at the jam circle and a fun one to play a solo over.  I know this tune best from listening to Old and in The Way recordings when I first got started listening to bluegrass music.  I hope you enjoy!
