The Train That Carried Man Girl From Town – Three Arrangements

This lesson is for the popular Doc Watson tune ‘The Train That Carried My Girl From Town.’ We’ll be working out of ‘C position’ and learning three different solos. The first solo is a straight-ahead Carter-style arrangement that is suitable for beginners. The second arrangement is a Doc Watson transcribed solo that gets a bit more syncopated and expressive. The third solo is one I created and sits in the intermediate level. Have a listen below!
