Tennessee Flat-top Box – Solo and Rhythm Lesson
I have transcribed the solo part for the Johnny Cash tune “Tennessee Flat-Top Box” in the key of G. This lesson also includes an in-depth look at how to play the rhythm and the chords as well. There is a short measure in the piece that can trip many people up. I walk through how to execute that part along with learning the solo part. Also, note that when Johnny or Rosanne sang this tune they did it in Bb so, just throw a capo on the 3rd fret if you’re looking to play along with them. Enjoy!
