Midnight on The Stormy Deep – Two Intermediate Arrangements

In this lesson, we’ll be learning two intermediate arrangements for the classic Bluegrass and Old-Time tune ‘Midnight on The Stormy Deep’ in the key of D. The first time through we’ll play the melody primarily in 1st position.  The second time through we’ll span a wide range of the fretboard and play the melody in the ‘sweet spot’ of our guitar.  These intermediate arrangements allow us to be tasteful and expressive all while following the melody very closely.  Have a listen below!
