C Major Scales – Connecting Scales to Chords Exercise – (Excerpt from DFA Course)

This week’s free lesson we’re going to take a look at an excerpt from my Developing Fretboard Awareness Course. This is lesson will focus on making use of C major scales. We’ll be learning to connect chords using scale work/runs/phrases so you can begin to learn how to improvise using scales. We’ll look at two different exercises using a simple I, IV, V chord progression and a short video clip demonstrating 4 positions for C major scales.
