The Girl I Left Behind – Two Variations – Beginner Lesson

This lesson is for the old-time tune ‘The Girl I Left Behind’ in the key of G.  I’ve created a beginner arrangement that includes variations for both the A and B Parts.  We’ll learn to play the basic melody the first time through each part and then get a bit more expressive with it by adding eighth notes runs and spanning a wide range of the fretboard.  Go ahead and give it a listen!
