On My Way Way Back To The Old Home – Three Arrangements – Study Piece
This guitar lesson includes three arrangements for the Bluegrass tune ‘On My Way Back To The Old Home’ in the key of G. We’ll start with a basic Carter-Style arrangement the first time through. The second time through we’ll start to involve more Cross-Picking and Flatpicking elements while still producing a melody-driven arrangement. We’ll move into advanced territory the last time through with a Bluegrass guitar-style solo with lots of consecutive eighth-note runs and flatpicking licks. We’ll get more expressive with the solo and have a little fun doing so! 🙂
