Man of Constant Sorrow – Beginner and Intermediate Solos

This week’s featured lesson is for the song “Man of Constant Sorrow” in the key of G.  I’ve created two arrangements for this tune. The first time through is a mix of Carter-Style and Flatpicking. It’s a beginner solo that plays a straight-ahead melody. The second time through is more of an intermediate to advanced solo that involves chord shapes across the fretboard, cross-picking, and some classic Tony Rice licks. Enjoy!
