Man of Constant Sorrow – Beginner and Intermediate Solos

This week’s featured lesson is for the song “Man of Constant Sorrow” in the key of G.  I’ve created two arrangements for this tune. The first time through is a mix of Carter-Style and Flatpicking. It’s a beginner solo that plays a straight-ahead melody. The second time through is more of an intermediate to advanced solo that involves chord shapes across the fretboard, cross-picking, and some classic Tony Rice licks. Enjoy!

This lesson includes:

– PDF Tabs and Notation

– 4 Speeds Practice Tracks at 140, 160, 180, and 200 BPM (With and without lead)
– Broken up into  separate videos so you can move around easier
– Slow Walk Through Clip of each arrangement
