Funky Blues in E – 2 Arrangements

This week’s featured lesson is an original composition I created called ‘Funky Blues in E.’ I’ve created two arrangements for this ‘bluesy’ lesson in which we’ll use a cool rhythm ‘sequence’ or ‘theme’ on both the low strings and the high strings. We’ll be using major and minor pentatonic licks/phrases throughout both arrangements. This is a great piece to play all by yourself as you can keep the rhythm going while play melody and lead lines.
