Delta Blues Study #2 – Intermediate to Advanced

This week’s featured lesson is a cool 12 bar blues done in the Delta Blues style. I’ve created two arrangements for this lesson and we’ll learn some classic Delta Blues licks and phrases. This is such a great style to be able to sit down and play by yourself. As you may or may not know, it’s all about getting that thumb steady throughout the entire piece. It needs to act almost ‘independent’ of your others fingers. So, get rid of your picks and let’s dig into some fingerstyle playing!
