Dark Highway – Em Exercise – Dave Rawlings Style

Here is a lesson I created for learning to improvise in the key of E minor and in the style of David Rawlings.  This is an original composition called “Dark Highway” and it plays four times through the progression (34 measures).   I’ll do a couple solos in 1st position and a couple in 8th position.  We’ll make use of multiple chord shapes and scales along the way.  David likes chromatic runs and dissonant intervals.   Let’s expand your soloing options for the key of E minor!

This lesson includes:

– PDF Tabs (Both Arrangements)
– Over 40 Minutes of up-close video
– 3 Practice Tracks at 80, 90, and 100 BPM
– Broken up into 4 separate videos so you can move around easier
– Live Practice Track slow and medium tempo
