Classic Country and Blues Lead – Intermediate to Advanced

This week’s featured lesson is an original composition I created in the key of E. It’s called “Classic Country and Blues Lead” and we’re going to learn some great country and blues licks. I’ve written up two arrangements that sit in the intermediate to an advanced category. We’ll use a wide range of the fretboard and explore the use of other chords shapes as well. This is a great lesson for learning to play out of ‘open E’ position and get some great country and blues licks into your solo. Have a listen and get pickin’!
