Blue Ridge Cabin Home – Beginner and Intermediate Arrangements

In this lesson, we’ll take a look at learning the classic Bluegrass standard “Blue Ridge Cabin Home” in the key of A. I’ve created two arrangements for this tune. The first time through is a straight-ahead and beginner Flatpicking solo that will play the melody ‘right down the middle.’ The second time through we’ll get expressive with the melody using more Flatpicking techniques such as cross-picking, hammer-ons, pull-offs, and consecutive eighth-note runs.
