Wreck of Ol’ 97 – 2 Arrangements

Here are my two arrangements for the tune Wreck of Ol’ 97 in the key of C. I’ve created a beginning ‘Carter Style’ arrangement that will play a straight-ahead melody and I’ve created an intermediate arrangement in which we will begin to ‘spice up’ the melody. This is a great old-time tune that’s a standard in the bluegrass and old-time circles so be sure you’ve got your solo ready to go when it’s your turn to take a break!
