Slow and Simple Solo and Rhythm in G
This week’s featured lesson we’ll take a look at learning a simple solo and rhythm arrangement for a Bluegrass style piece in the key of G. We’ll be focusing on playing these two parts at slow tempos. In the solo, we’ll make use of cross-picking and double-stops to really fill up the sound. In the rhythm, we’ll use several bass walks, ornamentations, and two different strumming patterns. This will be a great lesson for the ‘advanced-beginner’ looking to get more creative with your rhythm and learning to put cross-picking into your solos. Go ahead and give it a try!
