Me and Bobby McGee – Carter Style

This is my arrangement of the folk tune “Me and Bobby McGee” by Kris Kristofferson in the key of D.  I’ve written a Carter Style arrangement for the whole tune.  I followed the melody line of Kristofferson from a live performance.  He sings it a bit different from Janis Joplin, so please keep that in mind.  I know it best from listening to Janis sing it so, it was hard to get her melody out of my head and really focus on how Kristofferson sang the tune.  This is a great song to sing and play with a group of friends and now you can play a melody line as well!  Enjoy.
