Lay Me Down a Pallet – Advanced

Here is my arrangement for the tune “Lay Me Down A Pallet” done in the key of D.   I love the way Gillian Welch sings and plays this song.  I tried to follow her vocal line for most of the tune then I become a bit more expressive towards the end of the solo.  The melody is very syncopated so watch your right hand.  This is an advanced arrangement that will hopefully give you more ideas and licks to apply to other songs.  Enjoy!
