I am a Pilgrim – Beginner and Advanced

This is a guitar lesson for the Bluegrass-Gospel standard ‘I am a Pilgrim’ in the key of G. I’ve created two arrangements for this song. The first time through is a basic ‘Carter-Style’ version in which we learn to play a straight-ahead melody. The second time through sits in the advanced category and we’ll get more expressive and bluesy with our solo. This tune is often done with a Bluesy feel and you’ll be able to learn more classic Bluegrass and Bluesy licks! Go ahead and give it a listen below. 🙂
