Yellow Rose of Texas – Carter Style

This is my arrangement for the classic country tune ‘Yellow Rose of Texas’ done in the key of D.  I’ve created an advanced beginner arrangement in the Carter Style.  I followed the Roy Rogers recording to get a good sense of the melody when I wrote this.  It’s fairly straight ahead but does involve some syncopation in the melody line.  This is will a great tune to work on your Carter Style playing.  Enjoy!
