Gold Watch and Chain – 2 Arrangements

This is my lesson for the tune “Gold Watch and Chain” in the key of D.  I’ve created two arrangements for this tune.  The first one is in the Carter Style that plays the melody straight ahead.  The second arrangement involves more cross-picking and consecutive 8th notes that will begin to bring the melody alive.   This is an old-time tune that has been done by many artists in the past and seems to stand the test of time.  Enjoy.
