Drifting Too Far from the Shore
This is a great old-time tune I discovered back when I was listening to David Grisman and Jerry Garcia. It’s the tune ‘Drifting Too Far From the Shore” in the key of G. It’s always done super slow and the vocal harmonies are great. I’ve got a Carter Style inspired arrangement but we also get outside of that style and into some more intermediate playing. I think you’ll find some of the licks very useful in other songs that are done in 3/4 time.
