2 Bluegrass Solos in G #4 – Beginner and Advanced
This week’s featured lesson we’ll take a look at learning a couple ‘Hot Bluegrass’ guitar solos. The lesson is entitled ‘2 Bluegrass Solos in G #4’ and we’ll be using a very common chord progression you might here in bluegrass music. The first time through we’ll play a basic melody that will be great for the beginner flatpicker. The second time through is a more advanced arrangement with lots of hammer-on’s, pull-offs, and consecutive eight-note runs. We’ll definitely be throwing in some Tony Rice inspired licks as well! I’ve created this arrangement with the mind frame of playing at high speeds. I definitely have a different approach when playing fast tempos. 🙂 Go ahead and give it a listen!
