Rabbit in a Log (Feast Here Tonight) – 2 Arrangements

Here is my arrangement for the old-time bluegrass tune “Rabbit in a Log” or sometimes known as ‘Feast Here Tonight.  I’ve done it in the key of C and written up two arrangements for the lesson.  The first arrangement is a straight-ahead Carter Style lesson that plays a basic melody.  The second time through is more of an intermediate to an advanced thing where we begin to add more consecutive eighth notes, hammer-ons, slides, make use of different chords shapes and even get up the neck a little bit as well.   I wrote this arrangement with the thought of having to play at high speeds as this one can really get going at the jam.  Go ahead and give it a listen!
